Taste Characteristic – High acidity, sharp citrus notes, very good body and balanced flavour.  Full body with excellent mouth feel, floral overtones and sweet chocolate notes. Good brightness in the cup and well balanced with a pleasant sweetish lingering aftertaste.

A wonderful South American coffee, soft acidity, a very smooth medium body, a pleasing sweetness, and finishing with a subtle Smokey flavour.

Large   ‘Typica’  varietal. Cherries are sourced from the dominant cultivar used in Peru. Both acidity and body are medium, but the typical combined with altitude and the soil-microclimate produce an interesting flavour mix typical of the Peruvian region.

This coffee is very high grown in northern Peru, where many of the  organic coffee growers have been certified organic for over 2 decades. Grown from heirloom arabica typica cultivars which require a heavy shade cover to thrive.

Cupping Notes: mild lemon, cocoa, almonds – roasted at full medium
